With 25 years of successful experience in communications, public relations, and the nonprofit sector, I generate strategic communications plans for various fundraising, community outreach, and media advocacy efforts. I lead Mission Driven PR, Inc., a company that empowers and inspires nonprofit executives in communications and public relations by offering strategic counseling, establishing nonprofit communications departments, and teaching online courses that generate results that align with and fulfill nonprofit missions. I also teach public relations and nonprofit sector management courses to students at a California State University. Using my award-winning public relations strategic planning process called GRACE, I earned eight public relations awards for a former child welfare agency for which I was the senior director of communications and marketing. I have also been mentioned numerous times as a public relations expert on Forbes.com and present at fundraising conferences.
